Vein Treatments

VeinCure Method™

Dr. Greenberg has perfected the tools, techniques and solutions used in this method of varicose vein treatment. This method of treatment is used in the elimination of varicose or spider veins. The procedure is popular because it involves no surgery, no vein stripping, and no recovery time. In a short period of time the patient is able to walk out the door and perform normal daily activities. It is a tremendously safe and effective procedure.

EVLT™

EVLT™ is a quick, minimally invasive laser procedure that leaves no scar, has a short and relatively pain-free post-operative recovery period and is performed under local anesthesia in the doctor's treatment room. The treatment itself will take less than 45 minutes and initially involves both a physical and an ultrasound examination to map the vein to be treated. Dr. Greenberg was chosen by Angiodynamics to train physicians nation wide in the EVLT™ procedure.

Sclerotherapy

A needle is used to treat both varicose and spider veins. A tiny needle is used to inject a medication that irritates the lining of thevein.In response, the vein collapses and is reabsorbed. Surface veins are no longer visible. Depending on the type and number of veins being treated, you may need anywhere from one to several sclerotherapy sessions, and have several injections per session. Normal activities can be resumed after sclerotherapy treatment

Rosacea

Rosacea, an inflammatory skin condition that causes redness of the face, affects about 14 million Americans, mostly adults with fair skin between the ages of 30 and 60. It is most common in women, and often includes small, red, pus-filled bumps or pustules that are sometimes mistaken for acne. The cause of rosacea remains unknown, and tends to be progressive when left untreated, growing worse over time. It is not life threatening, but it can affect your appearance and self-esteem.
At The Vein Doctor, we utilize ELOS, a new technology that combines two energies, Bi polar RF and Optical light, to eliminate the visible symptoms of this condition. Most people experience no side effects at all, though a few exhibit some short-term local reddening of the surrounding skin. Treatments require no patient recovery time.
