Valley Physician Gets New Board Certification
Palm Desert, California – MD at valley vein practice one of first in the country to receive new certification
Dr. Joan Warren M.D., full time practitioner at The Vein Doctor Medical Group in Palm Desert, is one of the first physicians in the nation to become Board Certified in Phlebology, the study of veins and venous disorders. Board Certified phlebologists have extensive knowledge of and training in the diagnosis and treatment of vein disorders and have met the rigorous standards of education, experience, and evaluation required by the American Board of Phlebology.
Dr. Warren and Dr. Sanford Greenberg, fellow physician at The Vein Doctor Medical Group, have together performed over 5000 EVLT procedures for varicose veins, and over 2 million vein injections. They have also been chosen by Angiodynamics Laser Company to be among four national laser trainers for physicians across the country.
