California Medial Group Partners with The Body Deli to Offer Clients “Superfoods Facial” Skincare Treatment
Palm Desert, CA; July 23, 2008 - The Vein Doctor Medical Group, one of the largest vein practices in Southern California, has added to its extensive line of skin care and beauty services by partnering with The Body Deli beauty brand to be the first to offer an all-natural, organic “Superfoods Facial” at their Palm Desert practice. The new facial, utilizing skin care products developed by The Body Deli, is one hour of pure, organic pampering designed to hydrate and nourish your skin, soften fine lines and wrinkles, lighten sun spots and promote a healthier, more luminous appearance.
“This facial is unlike any other treatment we’ve offered our clients. It’s fresh with ingredients that will provide our clients with a natural, but effective, skin treatment,” said Kim Greenberg from The Vein Doctor.
The Body Deli has developed a loyal following including celebrities, such as Kate Hudson and Alicia Silverstone, by creating products in small batches, without chemicals or preservatives, derived from living plants containing vitamins, minerals, enzymes and nutrients to rejuvenate the skin and body.
"It's truly exciting for us to introduce the 'Superfoods Facial' for the first time at The Vein Doctor. We developed the treatment protocol for clients to experience the benefits of a variety of The Body Deli's product ingredients, in a multi-step signature facial," said co-owner of The Body Deli and "Cosmetic Chef" David Parker.
The "Superfoods Facial" allows the skin to cleanse, exfoliate, feed, tone, hydrate, protect and nourish in this six-step treatment:
Cleanse - Depending on skin type, one of three cleansers is used; Almond Milk Cleanser, Rose Geranium or Sage & Grapefruit Cleanser.
Exfoliate - A professional strength fruit acid exfoliant is massaged onto the skin.
Feed - The face is covered with a Honey and Superfood treatment masque and steam is used to penetrate the skin.
Tone - A toner is applied to the face, neck and decollate to balance pH and close pores.
Hydrate - Using a brush applicator, a fine layer of Sea Cucumber Gelee is applied to the face. A facial massage follows the Gelee application.
Protect - A sheer layer of Vital-C serum is then applied and absorbed into the face, neck and decollate.
Nourish - The finale of the treatment is the application of Crème de la Rose moisturizer to the face, neck and decollate.
The Body Deli “Superfoods Facial” costs $125 for a one hour treatment at The Vein Doctor. The Body Deli best selling products, such as the Sage & Grapefruit Cleanser, Sea Cucumber Gelee and the Crème de la Rose, will also be sold individually at the practice.
